Intel Centrino vPro
1.  Intel® Active Management Technology requires the computer system to have an Intel(R) AMT-enabled chipset, network hardware and software, as well as connection with a power source and a corporate network connection.  Setup requires configuration by the purchaser and may require scripting with the management console or further integration into existing security frameworks to enable certain functionality.  It may also require modifications of implementation of new business processes.  With regard to notebooks, Intel AMT may not be available or certain capabilities may be limited over a host OS-based VPN or when connecting wirelessly, on battery power, sleeping, hibernating or powered off.  For more information, see http://www.intel.com/technology/manage/iamt/
2.  Also requires a Connect with Intel® Centrino® processor technology certified wireless n access point. Wireless n access points without the Connect with Intel® Centrino® processor technology identifier may require additional firmware for increased performance results. Check with your access point manufacturer for details.
3.  The specifications for the 802.11n WLAN are draft specifications and are not final.  If the final specifications differ from the draft specifications, it may affect the ability of the notebook to communicate with other 802.11n WLAN devices.
*  Some functionality of this technology, such as Intel Active management technology and Intel Virtualization technology, requires additional 3rd party software in order to run. Availability of future "virtual appliances" applications for Intel vPro technology is dependant on 3rd party software providers. Compatibility of this generation of Intel vPro technology-based hardware with future "virtual appliances" and Microsoft Windows Vista operating system is yet to be determined.
